EN: Installation of anthotypes (photographic contact prints made with flower pigments), chlorophyll and bacteria prints (photographic “revelations” generated by photosensitive bacteria samples collected in the water and soil of Finnish landscapes), cyanotypes (toned with lichen, birch bark and berry pigments), pine, birch, willow and juniper branches and rocks collected around the Bothnian Bay. The printed photographic images depict my ephemeral interventions in Finnish landscapes, as well as lichens and bryophytes I photographed under a microscope, and finally topographical maps and celestial data (visualizations of cosmic noise, etc.) provided thanks to collaborations with several Finnish scientists. All of the images were reversed, superposed over others or manipulated in some way before being printed with the photosensitive pigments of plants, bacteria, or via the cyanotype process.

FR : L’herbier des paysages à l’envers. Installation composée de : anthotypes, tirages bactériens (récoltées dans l’eau et la terre des paysages finlandais), cyanotypes (teintés aux pigments des lichens, écorces de bouleau, baies, etc.), branches de pin, bouleau, saule et genièvre, et pierres collectées autour de Ii. Les photographies imprimées présentent des interventions éphémères au sein paysages finlandais, des lichens et bryophytes photographiées sous microscope ainsi que des cartes topographiques et données spatiales (visualisations du bruit cosmique, etc.), fournies grâce aux collaborations avec plusieurs scientifiques finlandaises. Toutes les images ont été renversées, superposées sur d’autres, ou manipulées d’une autre manière avant d’être imprimées grace aux pigments photosensibles des plantes et bactéries, ou au cyanotype.
